Shoehorn — forged in the hallowed corridors of Woodhey High School, circa 2022. A band of brothers bound not by blood, but by blistering riffs and a shared devotion to the almighty groove. However, two of them are indeed brothers.
From humble beginnings, strumming in the dusty corners of the classroom, to striding triumphantly onto the stage of Manchester Academy 2 — where they seized victory in the legendary Battle of the Bands, March 2024. A moment so electric, it sent shockwaves through the very fabric of the local music scene!
Their sound? A heady cocktail of indie rock, shaken with the sultry swagger of blues and the soulful sigh of something… deeper. The airwaves tremble as local and national stations alike spin their tunes, and festival stages beckon them forth with open arms.
