Sheffield formed alternative indie band Work In TV broke out in 2024 with an EP released on Blaggers Records. The band have toured throughout the UK, sold out every headline show in their hometown and recently played their first EU shows in France. They are enjoying continued support from BBC 6 Music, Apple Music, Radio X and BBC Introducing on their latest single.
Drawing influence from Foals, Interpol and Talking Heads, their sound features a disco-infused rhythm section, angular guitars and soaring synth sounds, all with a liberal sprinkle of contemporary indie pop and kitchen sink realism. The band has graced stages at Live At Leeds, The Great Escape, Tramlines, Get Together, Float Along and Solfest.
The five-piece collective of multi-instrumentalists are currently recording songs that will make up their debut album and are encouraging everybody to dance in their dejection. The band officially welcomes you into their world.
