Stand Alone is a 2 piece Melodic Hard Rock band, formed in Bradford in early 2013.
Unapologetically powerful, charismatic and tightly presented; ‘Stand Alone’ blend together: heavy guitar riffs, crunching bass lines and thunderous drums whilst still maintaining a definite groove and infectious sense of melody.
Their line up consists of Gavin Stevenson (Lead Vocals, Guitars, Bass and Keys) Tom Durrans (Drums and Backing Vocals).
Despite only having 2 members they are a very powerful live act with exceptional energy. They will always deliver an emotional and unforgettable set, keeping the crowd engaged throughout.
There have been many highlights throught the bands career so far including supporting qualtiy established acts like Big Country, Inme, Press to Meco, Fahran, Scarlett rebels and Chantel Mcgregor, to headlining the 02 academy in Leeds to a 1000 strong crowd.
Stand Alone have 2 EP’s to their name. 2016’s ‘Nothing is Forgotten’ and 2018’s ‘Falling, Faster”‘. After a couple of changes within the band and some time to reflect the duo are now settled and working harder than ever. Current singles ‘What you are’ and ‘This has gone’ are two contrasting tunes that show an evolution of the band, adding elements they hadn’t previously but also doubling down on the riffs and huge anthemic choruses. Their new self titled EP is due for release at the end of February 2024. They believe this is their best work to date and can’t wait to share it and get out on the road playing live.
